Witnesses to an 'altercation' near a golf course are being urged to come forward.

Cheshire Police are appealing for information after an incident involving two drivers on the A523 near to Adlington Golf Centre.

This happened at around 9.15am on Wednesday, July 2, and involved the drivers of a white Toyota Pius and a green Skoda Octavia.

A police spokesperson: "We are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed an altercation between two drivers on the A523 near to Adlington Golf Course to come forward.

"If you have any information, dash cam or if you may have witnessed the vehicles prior to the incident please contact PC 37369 COX on 101 or email [email protected] quoting crime reference number 25000542070."
