A new collaboration will help improve the educational offerings of a Macclesfield school.

Hurdsfield Primary School has officially joined the Aspire Educational Trust, a leading multi-academy trust.

The move marks a significant milestone for the Hulley Road school, which will be provided with access to a wealth of resources, expertise, and professional development opportunities.

"We are thrilled to join the Aspire Educational Trust," said Richard Jervis, headteacher at Hurdsfield Primary.

"This exciting partnership allows us to strengthen our school community and continue providing our pupils with the best possible educational experience.

"By working together with other schools within the trust, we can share best practices and provide more opportunities for both our pupils and staff."

Aspire was established by Ash Grove Academy in 2013 and is now made up of 13 primary schools across Manchester and Cheshire.

The trust's core aim is 'to give children and young people from all backgrounds an outstanding education'.

As part of the transition, Hurdsfield Primary will benefit from enhanced collaborative opportunities with other schools in the Aspire network, as well as access to cutting-edge educational resources and specialised training.

CEO Kevin Simpson said: "We are delighted to welcome Hurdsfield Primary School into the Aspire Educational Trust.

"This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to extend our mission of ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

"We look forward to supporting Hurdsfield Primary as it continues to grow and thrive as part of our educational family."
