Macclesfield have discovered who they will face in the next round of the FA Cup.

The Silkmen will travel to Slough Town in the second round proper of the historic knockout competition.

It comes following a goal fest at Moss Rose on Saturday (November 1), with John Rooney's side beating AFC Totton to book their place in Monday night's draw.

Man of the match Danny Elliott bagged a hat-trick in just 36 minutes, scoring his 50th goal for the club in the process, as the two sides went tit for tat in the opening half, which finished 3-3.

However, Macclesfield took control in the second, scoring three without response to claim a 6-3 win.

Now, the Silkmen can look forward to an encounter with Slough Town of the National League South.

The tie will played on the weekend of Saturday, December 6.

As a result of Macclesfield's progression in the FA Cup, the scheduled fixture at home to Radcliffe FC has been postponed.
