Grab your tickets and join us around our TOONiN' table, where your child will be encouraged to think, experiment and create freely, with NO rules and ZERO restrictions. Cartoonist Marc Jackson (Marc makes comics) will introduce children to the basics of creating fun characters, drawing comics and developing their own unique ideas, all in his engaging and accessible style. Children can follow along with Marc, experiment with their own ideas or head off on completely creative tangents... because sometimes the best drawings come from the ideas you never planned!

The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and, most importantly, fun. We want every child to feel comfortable picking up a felt pen, having a go and seeing where their imagination takes them, whatever their experience or ability. They'll leave with plenty of new ideas, a sense of achievement and hopefully a real desire to keep creating, drawing and telling their own stories long after the workshop has finished!

Parents/Adults: Feel free to stay and watch the fun. Or drop-off, and grab that coffee from the fantastic bakery just downstairs.
