A popular pub crawl and a village-wide bear hunt have helped raise vital funds for East Cheshire Hospice.
The Langley community came together at the St Dunstan Inn on Thursday, October 1, to celebrate a successful summer of fundraising.
In particular, the annual Langley 11 in July saw participants take on a walking route around the village and surrounding area, taking in 11 pubs along the way.
Once again, locals got behind the event and helped raise a fantastic amount for East Cheshire Hospice, with AstraZeneca agreeing to double the total money raised.

Then, running throughout July and August, the village hosted its first Bear Hunt.
Organised by the St Dunstan Inn, the Bear Hunt saw residents get creative, decorating their gardens and windows with imaginative bear themed displays for local children to discover.
The celebration evening at the St Dunstan earlier this month saw prizes awarded for both the best Bear Hunt display and the best bear hunters with winners receiving their prizes alongside the presentation of the cheque for East Cheshire Hospice.
Alison Archer from the Save the St Dunstan campaign group said: "The fundraising evening was a fitting celebration of Langley's community spirit bringing together locals of all ages to enjoy themselves while raising money for a very worthwhile local cause."
