Macclesfield Ribbon Display - BLAW

We invite bereaved families in Macclesfield & the surrounding area the opportunity to come together this Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9-15th October.

Ribbons displaying the names of the babies being remembered will be added to the entrance gate of St Michaels Church in Market Place for all to see from the 9th October and will remain in place until the 15th.

Please bring a ribbon of any colour from home, collect a ribbon from inside the church foyer (where pens will be provided), add the name/s of your babies if you wish to, and add this to our display. This can be done at any point during the week.

If you would like to add a ribbon to the display but are unable to do so in person, please message me directly and I can arrange for your loved ones name to be added to a ribbon.

Sands, the charity that leads Baby Loss Awareness Week, works to save babies' lives and support bereaved families. The Week is a time for everyone in the baby loss community and beyond to come together, to remember much-loved and missed babies, and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.

Once the display has come to an end on the 15th October all ribbons will be removed on the 16th October. If you would like to keep your ribbon, you are welcome to collect it on the 15th October. Unfortunately, we cannot hold on to the ribbons for collection after this date.
