The AZ choir is coming to Macclesfield! To be precise they will entertain us during a fund raising event at the United Reformed Church, Park Green on 17th May between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon to raise funds for a project in Moldova which enables young people either to start a trade or go on to higher education – no mean feat in a country that is one of the poorest in Europe.

So do come along – not just to hear the choir, though that in itself will be a treat, but also to sample mouthwatering shortbread with your coffee, to browse in the book stall, to chance your luck in the raffle and tombola, to buy our highly recommended home baked cakes – though you have to be quick, because they do vanish fast! The jewellery stall is always popular. And there is always a chance that you may snap up a good as new bargain at a knock down price. So come along, enjoy yourself and help a good cause.
