The Santa pub crawl is back for 2025!
After the success of last years charity Santa pub crawl which saw 30 Santas marching across the pubs of Macclesfield with a pint in their hand, Choose Macc and RedWillow are again organizing a pub crawl like no other on December 6th . Starting at RedWillow the crawl will then move onto The Foutntain at Park Green, The Snow Goose, The Castle, Proper Sound then back to RedWillow.
This year the pub crawl will be in aid of one of the Mayors chosen charities Cardiac Research in the Young. Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD. CRY promotes and develops heart screening programmes and funds medical research. CRY publishes and distributes medical information written by leading cardiologists for the general public. CRY funds specialist referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals. The charity is also important to Jo Lowes than runs the Choose Macc events after having suffered a heart attack at this years Macclesfield in May festival.
Taking part costs £10, £5 covers your costume and £5 goes to the charity to mix things up this year you can choose between a Santa or Elf outfit. There is a limited number of costumes available so book your place today!
