Join us for a fun animation workshop where we will bring pictures and patterns from the pattern books to life.

The Silk Museum have a huge number of pattern books filled with patterns, characters and colourful pictures. In this workshop you will be create your own animation of one of the pictures.

The workshop is recommended for children aged 10 and over. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.

For the workshop you will need to bring a tablet or smart phone to use. You will be sent information beforehand about the software that will need installing. We will be using the free 'Stop Motion Animation' app. All other materials will be provided.
