Macclesfield Comedy Festival launches on Saturday 7th August 2021 at Macclesfield Rugby Club. We've split the event into two halves so families can enjoy the daytime and at night we can turn up the comedy.

Day Festival, 12pm until 4pm

Bring your picnic blankets and garden furniture and enjoy the side splitting and face achingly hilarious comedy we have handpicked just for you at our lark on the park!

Away from the festival stage you can immerse yourselves in a superb street market, fill up on burgers and hotdogs from the BBQ, pick a pizza from the pizza oven, hop on a fairground ride and even grab a cheeky drink from the outdoor bar! There will even be a joke competition with prizes for anyone that fancies themselves as a bit of budding Peter Kay or Sarah Millican!

With a limited number of tickets available we recommend that you snap yours up sharpish as when they are gone, they are gone!

Night Festival, 6pm til late

Featuring some of the very finest comedians from the UK circuit our festival of funny turns up the comedy as the sun goes down.

TV comedians and some of the hottest rising stars in comedy will deliver a night of stand up, plus outdoor and indoor bar, VIP seating, a pretty darn funky DJ and a whole host of foodie treats are just a mere appetiser for the hilarity that we will be serving up for you.

Bring picnic blankets and chairs for our huge alfresco lark on the park.
