Following the stop check earlier this week on Monday July 19, officers conducted a search at a property on Macclesfield's Mill Street.

Officers discovered a substantial amount of cash and what is believed to be a quantity of Class A drugs.

One man and two women - with one of the females being from Macclesfield - were arrested.

Patrick Stewart-McGovern, 20, of Stonehill Street, Liverpool was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A (heroin and cocaine) and possession of criminal property.

All appeared before Chester Magistrates Court and have been remanded into custody and will next appear at Chester Crown Court at a later date.
