Macclesfield Formula 4 driver, Joseph Loake, 16, has been offered the amazing chance to go to the United Arab Emirates to test and race the new Formula 4 car in January 2022.
This exciting opportunity was offered to Joseph after his first successful season in F4 in 2021.
Steven Hunter the team principal for JHR Developments, who Joseph drives for, has been very impressed with him and wants to keep him on the team for future seasons.
The new F4 for 2022 will be run in Dubai at the UAE Championship and the trip will allow him to get to know the car well and give him a head start before the British Championship starts in April.
Joseph said: "I've been driving the F4 car all year and they know my feedback is really quite strong.
"It would be good to help them develop the car and get it in the best shape possible for the British Championship."
The UAE Championship will run from early January to mid-February, however substantial financial backing would be needed for Joseph to test and compete in the whole series.
To compete in the whole series in Dubai, he needs to raise approximately £100,000. Without any financial backing, he may only be able to compete in one round of it or may not be able to go at all.
When asked about any possible sponsors, Joseph said: "It's really tricky obviously with covid nobody really wanted to put any investment into anything that's a bit uncertain which this would be.
"We're getting a lot of interest but it's just not really what we need and what we're looking for." To cover the cost of the trip, financial investment is what is needed from anyone willing to back him.
Joseph started karting when he was 10-years-old at Macclesfield Kart Club and his school, All Hallows Catholic College, of Brooklands Avenue.
After realising his love for karting he decided to move up to more competitive racing and see how far he could go.
To date he has competed in the 2019 BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, 2020 Ford Fiesta Junior Championship and the 2021 F4 British Championship in which he has had three wins and five podiums. Looking to the future, Joseph has big dreams to follow in the footsteps of drivers like Lando Norris who started in karts and F4 before becoming a F1 star. Joseph said: "Every driver's dream is to get to F1 but I think I'd be very happy if I could make a living out of it and become a paid driver. "To be paid to do something I just enjoy so much it would just be a dream and that's what I've been working towards for the last 6 years."
