Over 500,000 streams - that's how many times Macclesfield indie punk band Between Thorns have been listened to on Spotify in the last year.
The Macclesfield five piece, who are all between 16 and 18 met at school, are now already taking on the world.
Their songs were approximately played 557,600 times in 2021.
The figure was revealed by the band on their Instagram on Wednesday December 1.
It was as music streaming service Spotify released their Spotify Wrapped feature, which ranks a user's most streamed music of the year, and also gives stats to artists.
Other key stats included their music being streamed for a total of almost 20 hours, and having listeners in 127 or the world's 194 countries.
The band said in an Instagram story: "You guys have been asking for our Spotify Wrapped, so here it is. Thank you!"
The countries that listened to their music the most were Andorra, Angola, Bhutan, Haiti and Senegal.
The cities that listened to their music the most were Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, and London. Our nation's capital even having more listeners to the band than in our native Macclesfield.
Their rise can be explained by Spotify's playlist feature, with the band appearing on numerous playlists followed by thousands of people, allowing them to be discovered.
In total, Between Thorns tunes were added to 51,109 playlists this year.
There have also been 66 TikTok videos of Brainwashed, their most popular song.
Brainwashed is responsible for 520,362 of their 557,600 streams in 2021.
The band added: "[That's] a lot of streams for a song about being gay and anxious."
And perhaps the easiest reason to comprehend, their music is raucous, socially-conscious rock, for a social media generation.
Their song length averages just under three minutes, and are high energy.
They had largest streams for any unsigned band from Macclesfield.
The band had 23,600 listeners in the last month alone, having released their new EP hivemind.
