The world of CBD is fascinating, but can be confusing. However, Macclesfield independent family business The CBD Specialist, who have just moved to a new site on Back Wallgate, are here to make things clear.

With CBD on the rise, there's more and more people using CBD in their daily life than ever before!

Along with this, comes an increase in people looking to take their CBD with them wherever they may be off to...

Now I'm sure that we've all seen the horror stories of being stuck in Dubai due to some CBD oil by now, and if you're anything like us, you probably thought it was crazy!

However, not everywhere has the same idea about CBD as us Brits do.

If you are in the UK, you will have started to see CBD popping up a lot recently. From celebrity endorsement on TV, to on a poster in one of your local shops; CBD truly is everywhere at the moment, so it's crazy to think there's places you won't find it whatsoever!

Going to Dubai? The UAE (United Arab Emirates) are one of the strictest places in the world when it comes down to CBD and any prohibited drugs.

They have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of illicit substance and treat CBD just the same as they would cannabis.

Whilst in the UK, we think a few years sentence is bad enough, Dubai carries a much heavier sentence, even for CBD.

This is why it's especially important to be sure that where you are travelling to permits CBD, not only as a cannabinoid but also that it is legal in the form that you use.

Some places, such as Spain, only allow CBD in a topical form (balms/creams/patches). This means that your gummies, oils and capsules are a no-go!

Another vital thing you may think seems minor; is that if you are stopping over anywhere between flights, be sure to check it is legal in the country you will be stopping in (even if only temporary). Any customs you may go through will treat it as though you are entering their country.

The key takeaway from this, is that no matter where you are going or how sure you are on the legalities of CBD, just take 5 minutes to have a little search (Google is your best friend here) for the rules around CBD in your destination country.

If this is something you aren't too sure on, we are here to help. Pop us a message over on our Facebook, via email or by all means pop in a call!
