Local timber merchant Illingworth Ingham has been nominated for a prestigious award.

The company has been shortlisted in two categories in the BMJ Industry Awards - described as "the key event for the recognition and celebration of excellence from across the builders' merchants sector".

Illingworth Ingham has earned a proud spot in the shortlists for the 'Timber Merchant of the Year', and 'Small Merchant' categories. Illingworth will represent Macclesfield as it competes against merchants from across the country.

Voting is now open - only industry professionals can cast votes in the awards.

The winners will be announced on 27 September at a glamorous ceremony at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.

Illingworth Ingham has two branches in Macclesfield, as well as a number of other sites across the North West.

The nomination is in recognition of the company's quality stock, sourced from around the world, and its general approach when it comes to expertise and customer service.
