Competitions company popular in Macclesfield to plant trees
A competitions company which serves Macclesfield has announced a scheme to support the environment.
Easy Winning Limited is an online contests firm which awards prizes to the public every day.
The company, which also sponsors Macclesfield Nub News, does use up carbon emissions in its day-to-day operations, such as driving prizes to the general public.
But now, the Buxton-based business, has launched an initiative that will see them help the environment in return.
Easy Winning Limited owner, Charles Edwards, said: "Starting this month, for every £1,000 we giveaway, we're going to plant one tree.
"We giveaway around £250,000 a month currently, so that'll be 250 trees (or more) a month!
"We'll keep a tally on the website."
Prizes winners of their contest receive range from cash, to cars, to consoles, and you can browse their latest contests you can enter on THIS LINK.
Some competitions cost pennies to enter. And you can buy more tickets to increase your chances of winning.
The tree-mendous new scheme will be delivered in partnership with the initiative justonetree.life.
Earlier this week, the Easy Winning website moved to a new server, to increase reliability and security for both the firm and end user.
Earlier this month, the business donated £500 to Macclesfield charity Space4Autism.
Every evening at 6pm, the winner is revealed for their daily competitions on Facebook.
The company will be awarding £10,000 to a member of the public tonight.
The full list of competitions you can currently enter with Easy Winning Limited can be found ON THIS LINK.
