A Macclesfield Nub News sponsor has launched a unique competition, where the winner could go on a spending spree in our town.

Easy Winning Limited, which has sponsored Macclesfield Nub News for 13 months, is an online competitions firm.

Every day, they do daily draws of prizes, with prizes ranging from cars to consoles.

And their latest competition to launch has a never-been-done-before prize.

The winner will be able to go on a £100 spending spree, at a local business of their choosing.

It can be any business, in any town, (ideally the Macclesfield area of course if you are reading this).

The only catch? They have to be a small independent business, and not a chained store.

Easy Winning will in effect, pay for a £100 'tab' which you can spend at the shop of your choosing.

It could be a bar, shop or other company. The sky is the limit!

The winner can choose more than one business, if they like, so spread their positive impact on the small business economy.

The competition will close in a little over two weeks from today, and can be entered ON THIS LINK.

While there is no guarantee that someone from Macclesfield (or a Nub News reader) will win, you could ask your family members to enter too.

However, please note, tickets are limited to one person, and a limited amount of tickets will be sold to keep the odds low.

Easy Winning Limited founder Charles Edwards said: "We are delighted to be running this competition to help small independent businesses.

"The winner of this competition will be given a £100 budget to spend locally. Whether you go to your local cafe/restaurant/shop or a combination of all of them. As long as it's local, we'll cover it!

There are plenty of other contests you can currently enter on the Easy Winning website, with some tickets for the online raffle firm costing you pennies! (Image - https://easywinning.co.uk)

"The winner will also be asked to take a picture of the local businesses they choose to spend the money at and we'll post/tag them on our social media pages!"

For full T&Cs, please email [email protected] or head to the link to buy tickets.

Live draw Sunday 12 May on the Easy Winning Facebook page, the draw will be brought forward if all tickets are gone beforehand.

Elsewhere in the land of Easy Winning, there has been some HUGE winners this week.

Congratulatiosn Joanne!

Player Joanne bought a ticket for a competition just 45 minutes before entries closed.

And lucky for her, she ended up as the £10,000 winner at 6pm that same day.

She wasn't the only winner of five-figures this week.

Aaron Bradley also won £10,000 cash.

Well done Aaron!

And finally, a woman with a (very, very Macclesfield surname) won an astounding amount.

Melanie Brocklehurst won an amazing £5,000.

You can browse the latest Easy Winning prize draws to enter on their website.

The firm recently celebrated their four-year anniversary.

Congrats Melanie!
