The West Park Café in Macclesfield has reopened after half-a-year.

The coffee shop located inside the Prestbury Road public park reopened their doors on Monday September 9, over six months after it was last open.

Lunch options start from £4.70. Breakfast is also served until 11:30am. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)

Since then, a new operator, Everybody Health & Leisure agreed with Cheshire East Council to take the venue on for a short term due. It closed down due to the previous operators falling into administration.

Now under the Taste for Life moniker, the rejuvenated coffee shop has had a new lick of paint and a new menu.

You can also stamp your loyalty card that you would get from other local Taste for Life coffee shops like the ones at Macclesfield Leisure Centre and Bollington Leisure Centre.

Popular with dog walkers and families, their food offering includes a dedicated kid's menu and a selection of hot baguettes, toasties and paninis.

Two staff will be on shift at any time. And you may recognise them from other local Taste for Life cafés. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)

The new West Park Café will be open seven days a week.

Current opening hours are 9am to 5pm, however, as the clocks change and days get darker, expect the opening hours to narrow for winter.
