Macclesfield: Slots open for community Christmas market in Upton Priory

Sign-ups have opened for a festive market set to take place next month in Macclesfield.
Belong Macclesfield, the dementia care specialists located on Kennedy Avenue, Upton Priory will be hosting a Christmas market open to the public.
The village already opens their doors to the community for their bistro, salon, and regular events like the recent summer fair.
And you will not want to miss their Christmas Market on Saturday, November 30.
The three-and-a-half hour event will kick-off at 12 noon, and ending at 3:30pm.
But why is Macclesfield Nub News reporting on this now?
Well, not only is Belong a Nub News sponsor, but they are offering Macclesfield small businesses and organisations the opportunity to have a stall at the market.
Should you wish to reserve a stall at the market, please call the village on 01625 508700.
It is £5 per stall, if you bring your own table. And it is £10 should you require a table, to sell any wares.
Everyone is welcome to purchase a stall, and with the event being less than a month away from Christmas Day, it will be the perfect time to do some Christmas shopping.
Cheryl Davies, Manager at Belong Macclesfield said: "Six to eight stalls are available at the market."
"In addition, we have six stalls of our own.
"Our individual households will run a stall, which will allow them to get involved with the community. They love getting involved in events like these.
"We will have entertainment on the day as well.
"In our garden, we will turn our summer house into a gingerbread house, and a Santa's grotto.
"We will be encouraging residents to decorate their own mini gingerbread houses, and have the public judge them. They were very competitive like that.
"The market on November 30 is free admission, as we are a community here, and we are here for the wider Macclesfield community.
"We look forward to welcoming you."
Hot food, refreshments and festive vibes will also be available.
