Free open days for Macclesfield College has been announced, with registration now open.

Macclesfield College, which offers BTEC and NVQ qualifications, offers courses in a wide variety of subjects from beauty to science.

And if you fancy seeing if there is a course for you, or a family member, then their two upcoming open days will be ideal for you.

The first, is on this month, October 17, from 5:30pm.

Parking is free, as your attendance for the event.

"As Macclesfield College continues to expand and innovate, there's never been a better time to join our vibrant Macc Community," said Macclesfield College said in a statement.

"We are excited to announce that our first Open Evening of the academic year will take place on October 17, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

"Prospective students and their families are invited to explore our campus, meet our dedicated staff and learn about the wide range of courses we have on offer for the 2025/26 academic year.

"This Open Evening offers an excellent opportunity to get a feel for our fantastic facilities, meet the amazing team who make our college so special and explore the variety of options available.

"In addition, applications for the 2025-26 academic year will officially open on the day of the event. Given the high demand for particular areas, we recommend applying early.

"If you're unable to attend in October, we will be hosting a second Open Event on November 23, from 10:30am – 1:00pm. This provides another chance to explore everything Macclesfield College has to offer and get ahead in the application process.

Registration is open and it is recommended by the College to register, however, people will not be turned away if they have not registered.
