Another Macclesfield pub in a residential area is vying to be confirmed to become accommodation.

The British Flag, of 42 Coare Street, already has a two bedroom flat upstairs.

And now the ground floor is also set to become an apartment, with four bedrooms for this new flat to be located on the first floor.

The plans can be read yourself - and responded to - on the Cheshire East Council website.

A pub around the corner on Beech Lane - The Ship - also recently suffered the same fate. And before that, the Navigation on Black Road also went from a pub to private living conversion.
