A Macclesfield business is celebrating both awards and their first birthday this summer.

Gents' barbers Crate Cheshire has cemented itself in the local community as a result of its successful opening in Macclesfield, through recent multiple award ceremonies and events.

The men's hairdressers in Macclesfield is one of three locations, with the other two in Northwich and Knutsford.

The three locations offer the same colour scheme, branding, service and quality.

Crate Cheshire, located on 51 Chestergate is operated by Cheshire residents Charlie Rose and Aidan Cragg.

"Crate Barbershop has proudly set a new standard of excellence, earning two prestigious accolades in 2024", said Aidan.

"We've won two awards out of two now, this year, and we've got another two award nights coming up.

"Crate Cheshire barbershop has been nominated for Best Team and Best Business Leader at the Modern Barber Awards. As well as Barbershop/Grooming Salon of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards."

Crate Cheshire offers top quality service in each location by offering a place where clients are able to work, help themselves to drinks, and feel comfortable in the barber's chair.

They also offer reduced prices for kids, and they can also colour men's hair.

Services span a gentleman's cut and finish with beard trim, back and sides, plus many more.

Crate Cheshire has a total of 15 staff across all locations, with the number continuing to expand as the company grows.

After opening the Macclesfield location a year ago, Crate Cheshire has built its fashionable location with a dedicated lounge area with a well-stocked selection of refreshments.

They also host charity events and gatherings within the local community. Aidan is grateful for the support Crate Cheshire has received so far.

"We obviously appreciate everyone", Aidan said.

"We did a charity golf day recently where we raised a couple of thousand pounds.

"It's been nice getting integrated into the local community and we continue to welcome people in."

Having now won awards since they opened in Macclesfield award-winning brand, Crate Cheshire has successfully brought the same high quality of service and trophies to their Macclesfield site.

And they are currently hiring!
