Beech Hall School celebrates 'outstanding' GCSE results with 100% pass rates across a range of subjects

Beech Hall School is celebrating 'outstanding' GCSE results.
Pupils picked up their results this morning (August 21), achieving a 100% pass rate in English language and 95% in maths.
The Tytherington-based school also boasts 100% pass rates in art, chemistry, design and technology, English literature, food technology, further maths and media studies.
Over a third (36%) of pupils attended the highest grades of 7 or above, up 13% from 2024.
In addition, Beech Hall School recorded a value-added score of +4.4, with pupils exceeding their predicted outcomes by an average of at least four GCSE grades based on baseline assessment data.
James Allen, headmaster at Beech Hall School, said: "We are immensely proud of our pupils and the dedication they have shown. Their enthusiasm for learning shines through in the outstanding progress they have made at Beech Hall and the excellent results they have achieved.
"At Beech Hall School, we remain committed to nurturing the whole child. By fostering a supportive community within an inspiring environment, we strive to help every pupil to reach their full potential academically, socially, physically and emotionally.
"It has been a joy to see many of this year's cohort step outside of their comfort zone and thrive, and we wish them every success as they take the next step in their educational journey, whether that's here at Beech Hall or elsewhere."

One high-achieving student, Indigo Platt Wells, 16 and from Macclesfield, secured six grade 9s and three grade 8s.
A former senior prefect, Channel relay swimmer and dedicated rat enthusiast, Indigo has been an active member of the Beech Hall School community, also organising and leading a whole-school Pet Day involving 100 animals.
She will now continue her studies with A Levels in biology, chemistry, maths and further maths.
Kate Vasylevskya, also 16 and from Macclesfield, has made extraordinary progress since arriving at Beech Hall School from Ukraine in 2022 with no English.
Kate, a senior prefect at the school, has achieved grade 7s and 8s in combined science, maths and design technology.
Following her accomplishments, she will now study A Levels in biology, chemistry and psychology.
Meanwhile, Beech Hall School's departing head girl, Dulcie Pearson, has secured seven grade 9s and two grade 8s.
The 16-year-old will now pursue A Levels in business studies, psychology, computer science and English literature.
Speaking at the school's end of year service, Dulcie said: "Beech Hall is so much more than just a place to get through exams; it's a place to learn, to grow and to discover yourself.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed being your Head Girl this year, and I'm so grateful I got the chance to represent Beech Hall, as it's helped me in more ways than I can say.
"Since coming here halfway through Year 7, my confidence and independence have grown, my happiness has increased massively, and I have truly developed as a person."

Outstanding achievement is also being celebrated among the younger year groups.
Year 9 pupil Imogen Regan, 14, sat both her maths and further maths GCSEs two years early and achieved a remarkable grade 9 in both, with the full 160 marks secured in further maths.
With aspirations to attend an Oxbridge university, Imogen will take on the challenge of A Level maths in Year 10.
