Art enthusiasts and supporters of East Cheshire Hospice have an event to mark in their calendars this autumn.

The biennial Art Fair Cheshire, sponsored by Macclesfield's Astra Zeneca, is set to take place from Thursday September 26 to Thursday October 3, at Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place.

The event will benefit the end-of-life care centre, of Millbank Drive, Broken Cross and Upton Ward.

The artistic extravaganza will feature the works of over 50 talented artists from across the county, each contributing a portion of their sales to benefit the Hospice.

Attendees can expect a diverse and vibrant display of art forms, ranging from paintings to sculptures promising a feast for the eyes and soul.

Art Fair Cheshire has raised an impressive £450,000 through its past exhibitions and the charity hope for the same support this year.

This event not only promises a varied display of art but also supports a noble cause, making it a must-visit for art lovers and those looking to contribute to the community.

The tradition began 25 years ago, and happens every two years.
