Two pubs in Macclesfield owned by the same brewer, are after new landlords.
Robinsons Brewery, of Stockport, have a pair of pubs in Macclesfield and Gawsworth that are after new publicans.
The Silk Trader, in east Macclesfield is seeking a new person to run it.
The Brook Street boozer which was last refurbished almost ten years ago, requires an annual rent of £29,585.
This was the same when the pub was last after a new publican in autumn 2023. The weekly rent works out at £568.
The pub's name references Macclesfield's silk heritage, and the building's close proximity to The Silk Road.
Previous iterations of the pub were called The Boarhouse and the Boarhound and The Commercial.
The pub has darts and pool, as well as elegant furnishings.

Elsewhere The Harrington Arms in Gawsworth needs a new head behind the pumps.
The Church Lane pub is a country pub in a Grade II listed building, which benefits from being a stone's throw from the popular events space Gawsworth Hall. The rent is slightly lower on this one. The weekly rent is £548 and the annual is £28,480.
The listing reads: "The pub is nestled in 75 acres of working farmland and has derelict barns and buildings to the rear. With the right business partner, we would be willing to look and a minor refurbishment to give the current décor a little boost, however, as the building is Grade ii listed, it would have to be in keeping.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for a business partner to take this already well loved local pub and take it to the next level within the community along with making it the destination pub for anyone visiting the area."

Robinsons has pubs all over the Macclesfield area, from Bosley to Bollington, Macclesfield town centre to the countryside. This year they will mark the 125th anniversary of their Old Tom beer. The Stockport-based brewery has been contacted by Macclesfield Nub News for further comment.
