Cassia return to Macclesfield to promote upcoming album

A band has returned home to promote their new album.
Signs reading 'Who the f*** are Cassia?' have popped up all around Macclesfield.
It is part of a marketing campaign for the band's upcoming album Everyone, Outside.
Releasing April 11, the album is described as Cassia's 'most personal and expansive' yet.
"The title is a metaphor for being your truest, most natural self," they explain.
"It's how we want people to feel when they listen to our music."

Cassia is made up of lead vocalist and guitarist Rob Ellis from Prestbury, bassist Lou Coterill from the Moss Estate, and drummer Jake Leff from Tytherington.
Their last album, Why You Lacking Energy?, was released in 2022 and soared up to 14th in the Independent Album Chart.
Two of the tracks enjoyed particular success, with Right There and Drifting accumulating over 30 million listens on Spotify between them.
While the band has been based in Berlin in recent years, their new album, Everyone, Outside, was written and self-produced right here in Macclesfield.
It is said to reflect the trio's journey – 'combining lush production with the escapist worlds they dream up for each track'.
"Led by the soaring title track, 'everyone, outside' balances reflection and carefree energy, turning everyday moments into snapshots of freedom," reads the band's website.
"With this record, Cassia delivers an honest, summery soundtrack for living fully in the moment."
Last year Cassia announced they would heading on a worldwide tour to coincide with the release of the new album.
Getting underway later this month, the band will start off in the States, with shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York.
They then head south of the border for two shows in Mexico before returning to Europe.
Cassia will perform all across the continent, with dates in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Vienna, as well as four cities in Germany - Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne.
The 'This is an Album Tour' ends with a run of seven shows in the UK, including a gig at New Century Hall in Manchester on Saturday, May 17.
