Chance to share your ideas for Macclesfield town centre

Macclesfield residents are invited to share their views on the town centre.
A new public consultation has been launched by the Town Centre Regeneration Working Group (TCRWG).
It aims to collect practical, community-driven suggestions for meaningful improvements that can enhance daily life in the town centre.
As part of this, a meeting will take place at the Town Hall on Saturday (May 17), chaired by councillor Fiona Wilson and Tim Roca MP.
Councillor Wilson, chair of TCRWG, said: "The town centre is our top priority and our work so far has been shaped by extensive consultation with local residents and businesses.
"We've listened, collaborated and acted.
"This latest consultation will provide a further opportunity to gather ideas both in person and via surveys as we work together to make Macclesfield an even better place to live, work, visit and do business."

The consultation event will include a short update on the action plan developed by the TCRWG during the pandemic, followed by themed discussion tables as well as an open table for anyone with ideas that don't fit into a single category. Facilitators will be on hand to capture input from all who attend.
In addition to the in-person event, the consultation will launch both online at www.macclesfield-tc.gov.uk and via paper forms available at the Town Hall.
More facilitated events are planned in the coming weeks to ensure a wide range of voices are heard.
Mr Roca added: "This is a fantastic opportunity to bring people and organisations together to shape the future of Macclesfield town centre.
"By working collectively, we can unlock new potential, create fresh opportunities, and ensure the town remains a thriving, vibrant place for everyone."
