Teenage cyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run near Macclesfield Forest

A teenage cyclist has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run near Macclesfield Forest.
Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses to help them find the driver of a car involved in a crash on Standing Stone Road.
Two teenagers were cycling along the road at around 3.15pm on Wednesday (April 23) when a car coming in the opposite direction crossed onto their side of the carriageway.
The car struck one of the boys, age 14, who then collided into the other boy, aged 16.
The 16-year-old fell of his bike, suffering 'serious' injuries as a result.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, which is described as being light blue, didn't stop at the scene.
PC Alex Norton said: "While we are making a number of enquiries to locate the vehicle and driver, I'd urge the driver of the car to get in touch so that we can establish the circumstances of the collision."
