Macclesfield's newest coffee shop is almost ready to open.

Costa are gearing up to open their newest branch, at Lyme Green Retail Park.

While no official opening date has been given, the coffee giant has confirmed the drive-thru store will open this summer.

A spokesperson said: "We're looking forward to opening our new Costa Coffee store in Lyme Green Retail Park this summer.

"Our team of 13 talented baristas look forward to serving the local community their favourite Costa coffee."

Costa already have three branches in Macclesfield - Barracks Mill, Hibel Road Tesco and Market Place.

Plans for a fourth store, at Lyme Green Retail Park, were approved by Cheshire East Council last summer.

According to the application the new Costa will be open from 5am to 11pm seven days a week.
