Macclesfield set to get its own dedicated late-night dessert parlour

Macclesfield is getting its own dedicated dessert parlour.

A dessert shop called Sweet is set to open in the town, having been announced on Monday, May 19.

Described as offering a 'stylish late-night dessert atmosphere', the venue will focus on a range of premium milkshakes, waffles and coffees.

A spokesperson for Sweet said: "Macclesfield has a fantastic food scene, but we felt there was room for a dedicated modern dessert venue with a strong atmosphere and identity behind it.

"We wanted to create somewhere people could come in the evening to grab desserts, coffee or shakes and enjoy the experience as much as the food itself.

"The response online already has been brilliant and we're looking forward to revealing more details soon."

The concept has been inspired by the growing popularity of modern dessert lounges and premium dessert brands seen in nearby areas such as Bramhall and Manchester, with the aim of bringing a similar experience directly to Macclesfield.

The menu is expected to include loaded waffle bowls, handcrafted thick milkshakes, iced drinks, premium coffees and seasonal specials.

Exact details, including the location and opening date, are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks and will be shared on the business's social media.
