The festive season is fast approaching!
Macclesfield Town Council's annual Step into Christmas event is little over a month away.
This year, you can expect craft workshops, street performers and a bumper line-up of live music, including a performance from Tom Hingley, the former Inspiral Carpets frontman.
Rachael Higham, events officer, said: "We know the town always comes out in force to celebrate the start of the festive season so we're excited to organise a fun, busy day for everyone.
"We like to mix in the regular favourites with something new each year and with the fantastic set list from Choose Macc on the Silk FM stage we just know people are going to want to stick around all day and enjoy the atmosphere.
"It's the perfect way to Step into Christmas!"

The Mayor of Macclesfield, councillor Emma Gilman, will open the day on the Silk FM Stage before Macclesfield Youth Brass Band start up for a festive selection of tunes around the Christmas tree.
Throughout the day there will be a range of 'walkabout acts' including stilt-walkers, jugglers, magicians, musical acts and a few surprises as well.
Meanwhile, Homestead Grown will be running their popular festive buttonhole workshop inside the Town Hall, which will also be hosting the Made in Macc makers market.
The Face Painting Queen will also be in attendance and ArtSpace will be on offering some Christmas crafting.

Back on the Silk FM stage, Choose Macc will be running the show with an afternoon full of live music.
Alongside Tom Hingley, crowds will be treated to performances from Melanie Williams, The Bad Actors, Vox Americana, Snowdrop and The Dopes.
On top of all this, Macclesfield Town Council will be funding free bus travel on D&G routes 10, 19 and 19a and High Peak routes 14 and 14a.
A full schedule for the event, which takes place on November 29, will be shared by the council closer to the time,
