Fallen tree lands on multiple cars on Manchester Road

Three cars on Manchester Road were hit by a falling tree on Friday 14 November.
The Eaton road was temporarily closed as Police and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, with two fire engines arriving at 11.41am.
All the people inside the vehicles were able to get themselves to safety. They were checked by paramedics at the scene.
Firefighters left the scene of the incident at 2pm, and the road is now reopen.
A statement from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service reads: "Crews were in attendance at an incident in which a tree had fallen onto the roadway and landed on three cars.
"All persons were able to get themselves safely out of their vehicles and were assessed by paramedics on scene.
"Police were also in attendance and set up a cordon surrounding the scene and closed the road."
