Firefighters were called to put out a hedgerow fire in the Ivy Farm area of Macclesfield earlier today.

Two fire engines from Macclesfield fire station attended the scene in Grasmere at around 11:39 this morning.

The crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and dampen the area.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue could not confirm how the fire had started.
