Former Macclesfield bank given new lease of life as heist-themed bar

A former Macclesfield bank has been transformed into a themed bar.
Heist is now open for business on Market Place, taking over the former Yorkshire Bank branch.
Behind the bar you will find brothers Ethan and Max Beaumont.
Speaking ahead of the official opening on Friday, September 4, Ethan said: "My brother and I are ecstatic with how it's all turned out and how well the soft openings have been received.
"The bar itself looks stunning and we couldn't be more thankful to our designers, James Grey Bespoke, our contractors, Diamond Projects, and our media guys at BlackFlagVisuals, as well as every other company and contractor that's helped us make this a reality.
"We will be ready and waiting to provide Macclesfield with a truly sumptuous experience."

Ethan is from the Macclesfield area and has worked in the hospitality industry for around 12 years.
He has worked at various pubs and bars around town, including a stint at The Castle on Church Street.
"With bars like R&Gs, Five Clouds, Diversion and Mash, Macclesfield has a really good nightlife scene," Ethan said.
"Hopefully we can make it even better!"
Heist takes over the space previously occupied by Yorkshire Bank and more recently, PEAK Cyclesport.
It is a bank heist-themed bar with a 1920s art deco style.
Ethan added: "Originally we wanted to do something focusing on Macclesfield's history with silk and textiles.
"Then we found the property and it's got a big bank vault at the back, so we had to play on that.
"We're definitely going for a premium vibe and we're going to champion good service above anything.
"We want to create somewhere that you can come for a pint or a coffee, but that you'd also come on a date night."
