Here are the pets currently needing rehoming from RSPCA Macclesfield
Every few months, Macclesfield Nub News in partnership with RSPCA Macclesfield reveal the latest dogs and cats up for adoption.
Even if you can't currently rehome any of these animals, please consider sharing the article with someone who may be able to.
So without further ado (or should we say arooooooo), here are the furry friends currently available, who want a chance at a fur-ever home.
Frank
A big lad with an even bigger heart, Frank is the most recent addition under the temporary care of RSPCA Macclesfield.
The gentle giant arrived at RSPCA Macclesfield last month.
"He came in via RSPCA Inspectors in November 2021 as a welfare complaint but when the officer arrived there weren't any concerns about his welfare – the owner did have health problems and just couldn't manage so he signed Frank over," said RSPCA Macclesfield.
The six-and-a-half year old is neutered and vaccinated.

Shay
Given up just before Christmas, Shay is a perky Staffy who has found the nature of a rescue centre rather difficult to accustom to.
But the gorgeous male eight-year-old has a lot of love to give. RSPCA Macclesfield believe he has led a sheltered life.
"Prior to entry, his whole world may have comprised just one person and a room or two, maybe a squat living room with a small window facing out onto the street, poorly lit, the smell of old tobacco and strong coffee swirling about it, and perhaps a strip of garden where his businesses could be performed," they said.
"Shay is wonderful, wonderfully tender and sweet, wonderfully sensitive. He is friendly and enjoys a fuss but he has to get to know you and he has to take things very slowly.
"He'd benefit from a house and an owner which is likewise. Please give him a chance."
Sadly, his last owner was terminally ill, but the Stafford Bull Terrier hopes to find a new home in the Macclesfield area.

Molly & Bobby
Currently stationed in temporary accommodation near Congleton, but seeking a permanent home, these sibling felines came into RSPCA Macclesfield's care last month.
Molly and Bobby - female and male respectively - are both nine years old.
The Domestic shorthair and semi-long haired kitties are shy at first, but friendly when they get to know you.
"Brother and sister Molly and Bobby came into our care after their owner was being evicted," said RSPCA Macclesfield of the cats.
"They have been vaccinated and microchipped. Both are neutered.
"They love each other very much, sleep and eat together, Bobby is slightly more dominant. Their fur is looking loads better. You have to watch your fingers when giving them treats, they are a bit enthusiastic! They have started to play and chat to you. We can see them blossoming in the right home."

Champ
Finally, we have another Staffie. Champ had to be given up as his owner was hospitalised for a long-time with COVID.
He loves walks and daffodils, but doesn't like other dogs. But most of all, he turns into a bundle of energy and affection with human attention.
"Whoever is lucky enough to get to take Champ to his new forever home will revel in the abundance of love and affection that he loves to give, a little rub on the back or his belly is all he asks in return," said RSPCA Macclesfield.
"he desperately wants to come and say hello and shower you with his special brand of Champ affection. When he wants to show that love, he'll jump up for a cuddle and settle in for a nap next to you, or on your lap, and you'll be left in no doubt that he loves to be loved. If you let him, he'll happily dive under the covers at bedtime and sleep next to your feet, maybe time for a quick cuddle first."
A secure garden is needed for anyone in Macclesfield who is interested.
Named after the word 'champion', the owner will feel very lucky when they realise all the love this eight-year-old male has to give.
