A Macclesfield Italian restaurant is to celebrate their one year anniversary.

While Fiore Mio first started out in the third lockdown as a takeaway, they first let customers dine in their bright and cosy Italian restaurant in May 2021, as COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.

From the Mediterranean blue decor, to music from Italian cinema, the Pickford Street restaurant manages to immerse guests with the feel of Southern Italy.

Fiore Mio, which translates to 'my flower' in English, was founded by owner Florian.

"Fiore Mio Macclesfield specialises in the best Italian food", he said.

"We focus on proper, genuine, original Italian recipes."

The vast menu of 72 savoury dishes, includes risotto, fresh pasta and a kids menu.

Meat, fish, and pizza dishes are also among the main courses.

They also cater for coeliacs and those with allergies, if told to a member of their team.

"We do everything on our customers wishes," added Florian.

"It was a hard year, especially after the COVID situation, but we are happy with what we are doing.

"We are about to announce what we will do for our first birthday.

"We can say we will have a special discount on the menu to thank our customers.

"We love our customers, we know many by name.

"We're trying to make this the biggest Italian in Macclesfield, and they recognise that.

"As you are aware, we have a lot of space. We have a top floor for private parties, and over 110 seats. So we want to be known across all of Macclesfield.

""And we also want to do our bit - as part of the town centre - to make everything busier for the town."

Fiore Mio boasts two bars, a bookable function room, and a friendly service.

While Fiore Mio is still new, the building has been used for Italian restaurants for decades.

The business offers a set menu of any two dishes for £12.99, or any three dishes for £14.99, from Tuesday to Friday.
