All Hallows
All Hallows Catholic College of Brooklands Avenue reported success.
A statement sent to Macclesfield Nub News read: "Every year, A level results day is one of nervous anticipation followed by delight, as students receive their long-awaited examination results, and today was no exception at All Hallows Catholic College. It has been a very difficult two years, and with students unable to sit GCSEs in 2021, it has meant that this summer's exams were their first external assessments. Provisional indicators show that this year's cohort have, yet again, made excellent progress, with students securing places at some of the country's top universities and others being successful in securing very competitive apprenticeships with both local and global companies."
Principal, Tim Beesley said, 'We are very pleased with the A level and BTEC results achieved by the whole year group, but more importantly we are delighted with all of the individual achievements and successes. We are very proud of all our young people, especially with the challenges that they have had to face over their time in Sixth Form. I would like to thank all of the teachers and staff for their hard work, dedication and outstanding pastoral care, and our parents and families for their support.'
Chair of Governors, Mrs Clair Watson said, "I am absolutely thrilled with the results of all of our students and on behalf of the Governors would like to pass on my sincere thanks to their teachers, for the dedication with which they serve our students".
Head of Sixth Form, David Howells, said 'These results reflect their tremendous energy and commitment to their studies. As a year group they have been superb role-models for the rest of the College, demonstrating outstanding leadership and commitment to making a difference through their volunteer work and Catholic social enterprise projects. As they move on to the next stage of their lives, they carry with them great values and attitudes."
This year, the highest achieving students include Joseph Reynolds, Daniel Tidsey, Thomas Okill, Jack Burgess, Jasper Plomaritis, Katie Sheader, Lidia Toon, Sam Brereton and Izzy Arch.
Head Student, Daniel Franklin, who is taking up his place at Birmingham University to study Geography, said "I am very grateful for all of the support and guidance that I received from All Hallows. These past two years have been incredibly challenging, and I couldn't have achieved my successes without the help of my amazing teachers."

Others will be studying finance and economics, chemical engineering, AI and robotics, biological sciences and wildlife conservation to name but a few of their chosen fields. Congratulations to them all.
"We are equally thrilled to celebrate the growing interest in pursuing other post 18 pathways that led to students successfully being accepted on to prestigious and competitive advanced and degree apprenticeship programmes with PwC, Astra Zeneca, Deloitte, Barclays, JLL and Jaguar Land Rover and more students applying for apprenticeships in cyber security, the fire service, the Royal Navy and the Police."
Francis Power, Headteacher, commented that "this group of students deserve enormous credit for their excellent A-Level grades. Having coped with serious COVID disruptions to their school life in Y10 and Y11, A-Levels represented their first experience of a formal examination season. Despite these challenges, we were delighted with the way that they prepared themselves for these exams and we are delighted to see that this hard work has led to such excellent outcomes. At the same time, our Y13 students contributed enormously to the broader life of the school during their time here.
"They have consistently acted as role models for the other students in our community, who will now aspire to match the standards that they have set. They leave with our genuine thanks for their contribution to Fallibroome and our best wishes for their future studies and careers."
Jane Knott, Director of Sixth Form, added: "We have thoroughly enjoyed working with this cohort of students and seeing them develop into independent young people. Throughout their time in Sixth Form they have shown great initiative and strength of character. We are proud and delighted to share their celebrations today and wish them every success in the future".
The Fallibroome Trust CEO, Jeremy Spencer, said: 'At the Fallibroome Trust, we are so proud of our A-Level students once again this year. It is wonderful to see such a high proportion of students securing their first/preferred choices at universities and other providers. This cohort of students have endured some testing times in the post-pandemic period, and we know that grade boundaries at A-Level have returned to their pre-pandemic norms for the first time this year.
