Cheshire's biggest 1980s music festival saw crowds from all over the area and further afield head to Capesthorne Hall in Siddington at the weekend.

Squeeze, who opened this year's Glastonbury Festival, closed this year's Rewind North last night blasting some of their famous songs which were top ten hits back in the day.

Billy Ocean headlined on Saturday. The line-up also included an energetic Tony Hadley, The Christians, Heather Small (M People) and Midge Ure.

Local legend Peter Hook, best known as the bassist and co-founder of the post-punk band Joy Division and follow-up band New Order, was among the big names who performed, just one day after a gig in Belgium.

Hooky wore a Back to the Future inspired shirt which read 'Rewind for a Better Time'.

The sun shone for most of the two-day event which saw many festival goers taking a step back to the 80s with neon coloured clothing and or fancy dress costume of TV characters from the era.

No date has been confirmed for 2025 as of yet.
