Jam-packed schedule announced for Macclesfield's 'Step into Christmas' event

Christmas kicks off in Macclesfield this Saturday (Nub News).

Macclesfield Town Council has announced a jam-packed schedule for this weekend's 'Step into Christmas' event.

The event takes place in the Market Place between 11am and 5pm on Saturday 30 November.

The day kicks off with a performance from Macclesfield Youth Brass Band around the Christmas tree between 11am and 12pm and throughout the day there will be magic shows, festive juggling, face-painting, carol singers, live music and Christmas crafting.

There is a jam-packed schedule planned for the event (Macclesfield Town Council).

At 3pm, the Father Christmas Parade sets off from Spivey's Web and heads towards Market Place before hitting the Silk FM Stage at 4pm with a festive message.

Whilst the event takes place, Market Place, Chestergate and Mill Street will be closed.
