Alecto Recruitment is currently in partnership with a well-established Precision Engineering company in the Macclesfield, Cheshire region who have an immediate requirement for a Multi-Disciplined Machinist.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Multi-Disciplined Machinist to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

• Milling, Turning Grinding

• Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Machinery

• Toolmaking

• Working to specifications of engineering drawings

Requirements:

• Must have experience working on a Manual Grinder

• 2-3 years experience Milling/Turning

• Able to read and work to Engineering drawings

• Able to work individually and within a team

• Apprentice Trained/NVQ Level 3 Qualified

Senior and Residential Childrens Support Worker- Macclesfield

We are recruiting for RCWs and a Senior RCW (Team leader) who are compassionate and experienced Childcare professionals to work within a home that supports children with learning difficulties based in Macclesfield.

We are recruiting for an RCW who will complete an average of 169 hours a month with hours being completed over 3 days without sleep-in duties.

The Senior RCW (Team Leader) is full time with sleep ins duties.

The company is a small business whom has the care of children embedded into the whole ethos of the organisation.

The role:

• To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by:

• Attending and preparing for children's conferences, reviews, planning, core group and other meetings in connection with children placed with the company

• Maintaining children's records accurately and within agreed time-scales

• Undertaking Key Worker responsibilities conscientiously and in accordance with agreed time-scales

• To participate and contribute to the collation and preparation of Assessment and Action Records (when this is in accordance with the child's care plan).

• Working on a rota basis (the RCW role will involve working long days 8am - 11pm, or shorter days of 815am - 2pm & 2pm-11pm. Working on average 2.5days per week. Usual shift is 1 day on, 2 days off though sometimes this can change. For more info please call me.

Requirements:

• Experience and Qualifications for the Residential Support worker*

• Experience of working with children or adults with additional needs in a paid or voluntary capacity

• Ideally full driving licence

• Ability to write clear and accurate reports

• An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.

• Ideally have Recognised Health and Social Care qualification Level 3 Children & Young People or Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent for children's units only (or be willing to undertake the above qualification as the company will provide this training free).

• £17,238 and £26,000 per year.

Senior Care Assistant- Prestbury

The role:

As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Requirements:

You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
