A fast-food chain is looking to extend its opening hours.

KFC has applied to Cheshire East Council for a new premisses licence.

If granted, the new licence would allow the restaurant to stay open until 2am, seven days a week.

Currently, the Barracks Mill Retail Park branch of the popular chicken shop must close at 11pm.

The application was submitted by Chicken Cabins Limited on Tuesday, February 3.

It covers the provision of late-night refreshments and recorded music from 11pm to 2am, Monday to Sunday.

Representations can be made in writing or via email by Tuesday, March 3.
