Macclesfield went to the polls on May 4 to decide who will be their next Cheshire East Councillor.

Some town and parish councils - like Macclesfield Town Council and Bollington Town Council were also up for election.

2023 Cheshire East Council make-up: Independents and Lib Dems made losses from 2019, the Conservatives also lost a seat from 2019. Labour gained six from four years ago.
