Macclesfield brewers set to steal the show at beer and cider festival

Macclesfield brewers are set to steal the show at an upcoming event.
This weekend looks set to be a scorcher and what better way to make the most of the fine weather than by heading to the annual Stockport Beer and Cider Festival.
Maxonians who make the short trip north will be surrounded by familiar faces, with five draught beers from Bollington Brewery and four from RedWillow on offer.
The two breweries will also be bringing a variety of bottled beers, while local cider makers SiDa will be offering a selection of their products as well.
Festival organiser Jim Flynn said: "The volunteer team have been working hard to organise a festival which has lots of different activities to enjoy.
"We hope you will come along and join us in our celebration of Midsummer Madness."

Stockport Beer and Cider Festival returns for its 37th edition from Thursday (June 19).
Running until Saturday (June 21), this year's event takes place at the refurbished Masonic Hall on Wellington Road.
It will feature over 250 beers, ciders and perries.
There will also be food, live entertainment, stalls and for the first time at any CAMRA festival, an 'artist in residence' – Eric Jackson.
Providing the tunes are several local bands as well as BAFTA-winning actor and singer-songwriter Phil Mealey and a DJ set by Clint Boon of the Inspiral Carpets.
