A Macclesfield business has marked 30 years in business.
Amtri Veritas is a product certification body located within central Macclesfield.
They have an office at Veritas House, on Pierce Street, Macclesfield.
The limited company was founded as Fleetness 194 limited, before a name change in spring 1994 to Amtri Veritas.
Ms Eline Beun is Managing Director of Amtri Veritas.
"We're thrilled to have reached this significant milestone and eagerly anticipate another 30 years of providing exceptional services," she said.
"What truly sets us apart is our unparalleled ability to execute machinery compliance projects across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, aerospace, and the vertical industry."
"We are not just a service provider to our clients – we are a partner. Our commitment to upholding the highest standards of machinery compliance is evident in every project we undertake.
"As we reflect on 30 years of achievements, we look forward to continued growth and success at the forefront of machinery compliance in the years to come."
Over the past five years, amtri veritas has rapidly expanded its team of compliance engineers and project managers to meet the demands of a growing client portfolio.
They ensure machinery compliance on everything from high-profile infrastructure projects to refuse vehicles and robotic cells, amtri veritas engineers travel around the globe providing expertise and training on UK and EU machinery legislation.
As part of Amtri Veritas 30th anniversary celebrations, local MP, David Rutley visited the Macclesfield based business to see first-hand the innovative work they have done over this period.
David met with Ms Beun, and other members of the senior management team to discuss their plans for the future.
Amtri Veritas employs engineers and project managers, with a high number living in the local area. Amtri Veritas is an approved body for machinery inspections and a certification body for management systems under UKAS accreditation, providing machinery certification services to clients which operate globally.
Ms Beun informed David that Amtri Veritas provides a range of training courses, such as compliance with machinery product safety legislation, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and management system standards.
The business is committed to excellence and their engineers have high levels of experience in machinery compliance. As part of their package of support to clients, the company also offers technical support with compliance of machinery, through risk assessments, completing compliance checks and writing instructions.
David was also pleased to hear about the business' commitment to supporting UK based charity, Tools With A Mission. The charity collects unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them and then sends them to Africa, where they have been used for a variety of much-needed projects, such as two projects in Zambia working to set up a new school in Lusaka and supporting the Disabled Care Organisation in Solwezi.
Speaking after the visit, David said "Amtri Veritas are a real asset to Macclesfield and the local community."
"Their experience and skills have allowed the company to expand for 30 years and it was good to meet with Ms Beun and her team to see their innovative work and hear about the 'Tools With A Mission' initiative. I wish them continued success for the next 30 years."
