A Macclesfield carpark is to temporarily close this November.

The Waters Green Carpark will be shut for two days later this month.

The Cheshire East Council-owned carpark will not be available to park in on Tuesday November 21 and November 22.

The closure is for lighting work that has to take place at the carpark.

Lamposts surround and tower over parking spaces, so for safety of drivers and pedestrians who walk through the carpark, the carpark will be not open for the aforementioned dates.

Cheshire East Council's media team, and a ward councillor, have been contacted for comment.

The nearest Cheshire East Council-owned carparks that will be open on those dates is the Gas Road Carpark, or the one on Pickford Street.
