Macclesfield: Films announced for East Cheshire Hospice's Drive-In Cinema
An outdoor movie event has been announced in Macclesfield, raising vital money for East Cheshire hospice.
The fundraiser will invite Macc to Capesthorne Hall in Siddington to watch two classic films.
For the first time ever, East Cheshire Hospice will bring a Drive-In Cinema at the stunning Jacobean abode on Sunday 17th October 2021.
The Grade II*-listed building will show an all-star line-up of films starring Patrick Swayze and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The first film is a more family-friendly affair, with the 2016 Disney film Moana. The flick set in Polynesia stars Aulii Cravalho and Nicole Scherzinger.
The second and final screening will be romance and dance, as 1987's Dirty Dancing will be shown.
Gates open at 6pm for Moana, with a 6:30pm showtime.
Whereas cars are invited to arrive for 8:45 Dirty Dancing, with a 9:15pm showtime.
"Enjoy the magic of cinema and the beautiful surroundings of Capesthorne Hall, all from the safety and comfort of your own vehicle," said East Cheshire Hospice.
"Not to mention you'll be supporting East Cheshire Hospice and the crucial work we do to care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
"Choose to watch either film or stay for a full movie marathon at a discounted rate.
"A limited selection of food and drink will be available at an extra cost."
Tickets for Moana are here, which is £25 per car.
