A Macclesfield pharmacy has shut their doors.

Cohens Chemist of 46-48 Charlotte Street has closed down.

However, it is not all bad news, as they are keeping open their larger site on Sunderland Street, where it is believed staff have been transferred.

A sign on the door indicates that all customers should now go to the bigger Cohens Chemist on Sunderland Street, next to the Waters Green Medical Centre.

But their site just one minute away on Sunderland Street is staying open. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)

The vacated unit has now come on to the property market with Macclesfield's Greenham Commercial.

The empty Charlotte Street shop has a rent of £15,000 per annum exclusive. It comprises 1068 square feet.

How to arrange a viewing and more info can be found ON THIS LINK.

Cohens have been contacted for comment.
