Out of work? A Green Street cleaning business are expanding.

Set up in July 2019, mere months before the pandemic, GEC Cleaning are on the rise.

They already provide 45 cleaning jobs across the Macclesfield area, and are hoping to add seven more this month.

The fast-growing Macclesfield cleaning experts have just posted vacancies from Tytherington, Bollington and Macclesfield on their website.

As well as lower paid part-time and full-time cleaning roles, this includes a fantastic Team Leader opportunity to co-ordinate their new and current hires.

"The team leader role is 12.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 3.15pm to 5.45pm," said Simon of GEC Cleaning.

"You will be leading five-to-eight cleaning operatives for this particular role.

"You will have supervisory experience and be leading a small team to deliver fantastic standards of cleanliness throughout the site.

"Cleaning experience is preferred. Also desirable is previous roles that the applicant has done leading or supervising a team.

"There is future opportunity for Supervisor roles within GEC cleaning, depending on performance, and company growth."

The deadline for the Team Leader role is February 18.

They will also host Macclesfield recruitment days at Caffe Nero on Market Place every two months.
