Macclesfield: The bassist of Joy Division will be hosting a Q&A this week.

Honorary Maxonian Peter Hook, who will perform in our town this spring, will host a free online question and answer session with fans on Tuesday.

The ex-band mate of Macclesfield musicians Stephen Morris and Ian Curtis will answer fans questions on the social media site Reddit.

Macclesfield: You can post your questions here, in advance of Hooky answering his favourites on Tuesday afternoon.

He'll hope to spend an hour or two answering any questions about his music career from 4pm.

The Reddit AMA - which stands for 'Ask Me Anything', is to celebrate the official Joy Division band subreddit forum reaching 10,000 followers.

Macclesfield: You can submit your questions here.

The Salford-born bass guitarist will perform with Peter Hook and the Light at Macclesfield's Party in the Pews festival this May.

It is one of numerous charity gigs Hook has performed in our town.
