A new grab-and-go coffee spot has opened in Macclesfield.

Yas Hatch has opened in Macclesfield, brought to you by the same team that brought Macclesfield Yas Bean.

Situated just short stroll from their flagship coffee shop on 219 Buxton Road, their new opening is called Yas Hatch.

And as the name suggests, it is a small window where you can order the Yas Bean coffee Macclesfield has come to love over the past four years.

Mika Johnson and Dan Hardman started Yas Bean as a coffee van in Tytherington during the pandemic.

They then graduate to parking their coffee truck at The Vale Inn in Bollington, before opening on Buxton Road (before many of the other trendy food businesses that are now there) in summer 2021.

And now, they have opened Yas Hatch.

We've opened a little hole in the wall right by the train station, so you can get your Yas fix in a hurry," said Mika and Dan.

"Serving coffee, bakes, matcha, brunch pots and ATTITUDE honey."

Yas Hatch is located at 2 Sunderland House, Sunderland Street, where Revive Café used to be.

Yas Bean had already been using the premises as a larger kitchen to bake in for many months, and now, it is partly open to the public via the way of Yas Hatch.

If you are struggling to find Yas Hatch, it is just opposite the medical centre, and found to the left of Citizens Advice and VT Personal Training.

HATCH OF THE DAY: Yas Hatch has shorter opening hours than the bigger sister shop, but it is designed for those in a rush or fancy a quick drink as they go about their day. (Image - Yas Bean)

The new venture will be open five days a week, Monday to Friday 7:30am 'til 1:30pm, particularly handy for commuters or those about to ride our town's rails.

"A huge thank you to Macclesfield's GEC Home Improvements for our gorgeous bifold window, added Yas Hatch.

"Also thank you to Public Woodworks for our stunning pink a-board, our lovely landlords, and of course Kickback Coffee for supplying the good stuff."

Earlier this year, a YouTube video visiting their Buxton Road coffee shop received 3.8 million views on YouTube.

If you are struggling to find it, Just look out for the pink!
